[NARCCAP-discuss] Projection problem

Hi Risa,

It's always helpful to specify what software you're using, and which data
(models, runs, and variables) you're working with. I'm guessing a little with
these answers, but:

Some CRCM files have projection metadata that's off by half a gridbox. The
CRCM output should have false_easting=3450000 and false_northing=7450000. If
it doesn't, change those values and see if it solves the problem. We're
working on fixing this in the published data, but republishing the corrected
data is time-consuming, and it tends to get back-burnered. Apologies.

If you're using ArcGIS, the problem with the HRM3 data is that ArcMAP doesn't
understand the Rotated Pole projection. We've inquired with ESRI about this
issue, but haven't heard any response.

The WRFG-cgcm3 run should have data for 2070. You may have a truncated
download; try downloading one of the 2066 files again to make sure you got it
all.

Cheers,

--Seth
