I didn't document the optional libraries yet, as I've only built one of those so far, but I believe these instructions *should* work. I wrote them down rather quickly, but I've built them enough times to thing they are correct. So please feel free to correct me if something I wrote in this is wrong.<br>

Now that PIO is required to build any MPAS dycore, should we put together instructions for first-time builds (i.e. what libs need to be built and common configurations that we have worked out)? A postdoc in our group (Jonathan Graham, cc'd here) wants to build MPAS ocean. Yesterday I could have easily answered his question of "how do I build the ocean". Today (with PIO now on the trunk) I am less confident that I can work him through the process ....<br>
