Hi, All.

I just added I/O support for time-varying, 1-d integer fields in our
atmospheric physics development branch; if all looks well after some
"real-world" testing, I'll probably propose a similar change to the 
trunk, as well. If anyone would also be interested in reading or writing
time-varying 2- or 3-d integer fields, it would be trivial to add support
for those, too, at the same time.
