Dear Hearts of GOLD list

I would like to bring to your attention the summer internships at the
NOAA-funded Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System (CIMES)
at Princeton University and NOAA-GFDL. Applications are currently being
accepted with a deadline of January 15th 2021. This year we have
projects in a wide variety of topics, ranging from ENSO to fisheries to
icebergs, with details given on the website
https://cimes.princeton.edu/education-outreach/intern-program. Interns
receive a stipend, housing allowance and travel expenses, and depending
on the circumstances associated with the pandemic, all projects may be
done remotely if needed. The goal of the intern program is to broaden
participation in climate and earth-system science and we specifically
encourage applications from STEM students with little or no prior
research experience.

Please share this information with your students and your networks.

Let me know if you have any questions

Regards

Sonya Legg

Associate Director CIMES
