Dear all,

Here is an obituary, sent by John Shebalin, of Steve Orszag who just died.
Steve was strongly associated with the Geophysical Turbulence Program  
and was a pioneer of spectral methods, together with Stu Paterson, a  
former director of SCD. Such methods have played an important role in  
the early days of NCAR and continue to do so.
