<p style="background:white"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">We are seeking a summer researcher to help with a project involving the development of a next-generation atmosphere model/code known as Aeras. Possible summer projects
include:</span></p>

<p style="background:white;word-spacing:0px"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">(1) Porting of the Aeras dynamical core to next-generation architectures using the Kokkos Trilinos library;<br>
(2) Verification/validation;<br>
(3) Performance studies/code optimizations;<br>
(4) Assisting Sandia staff with ongoing development/implementation of Aeras physics. </span></p>

teams, including interactions with other departments within Sandia as well as external collaborators. Successful applicants will be exposed to computational research at Sandia and will have a strong project-based research experience working directly with
Sandia staff scientists. Successful candidates will also learn about and be expected to contribute to Sandia software technologies.</span></p>
