Rossbypalooza will be part lecture series, part hackathon with participants working on interdisciplinary projects of their own choosing. Lectures will provide physical and statisical insight into climate phenomena such as monsoons, precipitation and temperature extremes, and El Niño. Lecturers will include Tiffany Shaw (UChicago), Malte Jansen (UChicago), Noboru Nakamura (UChicago), Michael Stein (UChicago), Brian Reich (NCSU), and William Kleiber (UColorado Boulder). </div><div><br></div><div>The workshop will run from July 25th to 29th and will be held at the University of Chicago, and the application deadline is April 23, 2016.
