More info from the organisers is at the bottom of this email. If you're on the fence about whether this sounds like a good idea or
not, they're going to be giving at talk in the FL main auditorium on Feb
12th, from 11-noon to explain a bit more about the fair and its impact
on students, and answer any questions that people have about judging.
Please do come along to find out more, and bring a friend or two. A
flyer with all the info is attached. <br><br>Science fairs are a great way for us to have a surprisingly large impact on students: while it's only a day of our time, it's the culmination of a long project for students, which has given them training in the scientific method, and (hopefully!) built enthusiasm for staying in science. They get communication and presentation experience, get to meet real scientists, and participation in the fair gives them the chance to win scholarships for higher education. Apart from that, it's also usually a blast - the kids are smart and generally a lot of fun to talk to. 2015 Colorado Science and Engineering Fair (CSEF) will be held April
9-11, 2015 is the 60th Anniversary of the CSEF! Judging for the CSEF
will take place from <span><span>9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9th</span></span>. The fair

success of the CSEF depends in a huge part on the quality of the judges
who volunteer to judge the approximately 400 projects from the 6th-12th
grades (Junior Division is grades 6-8 and Senior Division is grades

(both visually and verbally), meet potential contacts who will help them
