<div>2. A variety of activities for the fall Thompson lecture are scheduled Oct 24-26.</div><div><br></div><div>3. The NCAR ECSA happy hour will be scheduled in Nov; probably Nov 2 or 9.  This will provide an opportunity for postdocs to network with project/associate scientists at NCAR.</div>
