[Grad-postdoc-assn] Reminder: "Taking charge of your career" seminar tomorrow at 2 pm + tea at 3 pm

Dear postdocs and grad students,

Just a reminder to join Rebecca Haacker and me for the NCAR Fellows Seminar
on "Taking charge of your career" tomorrow, Tues., March 6th, at 2 pm in
MMM's Conference (Room FL3-2072).  This is open to all visiting and UCAR
postdocs and graduate students.

This will be followed by tea and cookies in the MMM kitchen nearby from 3 -
4 pm.

*Description:*

How do you have productive conversations with supervisors and mentors about
your career plans and the skills you would like to develop?  How do make
the most of your appointment at a university or at NCAR? Please join us for
the next Fellows Association Seminar on "Taking charge of your career".

​We will also talk about how to have difficult conversations with
supervisors and how using the NCAR ​Individual Development Plan (IDP) can
help with this.

​Attached are  PDF and Word document of the IDP for you to look over before
the meeting.  ​
