Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The Department of Geology and Environmental Science at James Madison
University has been given permission to search for a one-year (with
possibility of extending to a 2nd year) Visiting Assistant
Professor/Instructor position for the next academic year. The successful
candidate will teach intro/gen ed lecture and lab courses in the physical
and Earth sciences. We are especially interested in candidates with
successful teaching experience with courses such as: physical geology,
Earth system science, oceanography, and/or meteorology. Here is the
