[Grad-postdoc-assn] An invitation for an evening with undergraduates at NCAR

Good afternoon everyone,

​
Next week NCAR is hosting 20 undergraduate students from atmospheric
science departments around the country for the one weeklong NCAR
Undergraduate Leadership Workshop

which has run every year since 2002.

We would like these undergraduates to have the opportunity to meet with
grad students and postdocs, and we think that you would be perfect for
providing mentoring and guidance to students who have questions about life
in grad school and beyond.

We are planning a special evening, and want to invite you to join us.  Here
is the tentative agenda:

*An Evening with Undergraduates*
Wed., July 12th, 2017, 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Mesa Lab

5:00 PM:  Welcome and Mentoring Event (Mesa Lab cafeteria)
6:00 PM:  Dinner (catered) with the undergraduates in the Mesa Lab
cafeteria and on the patio

You are also invited to attend a talk in the NCAR Explorer Series at 7:00
