Hi all,

We are planning a snowshoeing/hiking trip at Brainard Lake on the weekend
of February 18 (aiming for Saturday but the date is flexible based on the
weather).
We will meet at 9:30 AM at the Foothills Lab and head out by carpool.

The round trip from the parking lot at the Gatewat Trailhead to Brainard
Lake (https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd524916.pdf) and
back is about 5 miles with different options to chose from (walking in the
trees or on the street).
Snowshoeing should be perfect there but for people who don't like snowshoes
plain winter boots should be fine as well (did that last year without any
problems).

Snowshoes can be rented in Boulder at e.g. Crystal Ski Shop (12$).

If you like to join us please fill out this doodle poll
<http://doodle.com/poll/k8irdihtkkfxp8u7> and also indicate your
willingness to drive (the road conditions are usually not too bad).

Hope to spend a nice day together,
Clay and Manuela
