The Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Group is proud to announce
the *First
Annual WiSE Science Communication Symposium* to take place on *Thursday,
April 21, 2016, from 1‑5 PM in the new SEEC Auditorium on East Campus*!
This half-day event will be a combination of short, engaging research talks
and several fun and interactive activities intended to help participants
think outside of the box to effectively communicate their STEM research to
people with different backgrounds. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Abigail
Watrous, will talk about her experiences as a scientist, science
communicator, Fulbright Scholar, and AAAS Congressional Fellow. You are
welcome to drop in for a few talks or to stay for the whole event.
