Dear Friends of BASC and PRB,



We’re excited to announce that the Board on Atmospheric Sciences and
Climate (BASC) is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow.  This is a great
opportunity for a recent PhD student to spend a year working at the
interface of science and policy.  The postdoc will support several
activities that we have underway and in development, on topics including
atmospheric chemistry, subseasonal-to-seasonal forecasting, geoengineering,
and global change research. In addition, the postdoc will likely be asked
to support activities of the Polar Research Board (PRB).



Given your experience with BASC and PRB, we’re hoping that you might help
us identify some excellent candidates who will be a good match for this
sort of interdisciplinary work. In particular, we need someone who is a
quick learner, an excellent communicator, and able to juggle multiple
responsibilities.
