The Thompson Lecture Series is next week! A friendly reminder to please
sign up for...

A) Individual meetings with Dr. Lohmann...

We still have many open slots for one-on-one time at both Mesa Lab
(Wednesday) and Foothills (Thursday). Remember, don't be afraid to sign up
just because you think your science interests are different than the
speaker. You may find that they have a breadth of interests and can also
offer you interesting insights on your career development.

Next Wednesday is a potluck dinner in the Damon Room at Mesa Lab at 5:30
PM. A main dish is being arranged, but please sign up to bring a sweet or

Thursday, there will be a dinner "out" with the speaker. We currently have
a reservation at 6 PM at Brasserie Ten Ten, and need a headcount to give
them a better number. We have to pay ourselves, but they have happy hour
