Department of Environmental Studies, Emory University
Supervisor: Eri Saikawa

A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Department of
Environmental Studies and the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory
University, to work on one or both of the following projects:

- Impact of China?s vehicle emissions on air quality and health (Funded
by the Energy Foundation)

- Land-atmosphere-climate interactions, focusing on soil nitrous oxide
emissions (Funded by NOAA)

You will have opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
with researchers within Emory University and beyond. Emory University is
a part of the EPA Clean Air Research Center and has significant
collaborations with Georgia Institute of Technology. The Center for

Applicants should have a PhD degree in atmospheric sciences,
biogeochemistry, or other closely related fields, and be proficient in
Fortran and other computer languages. Experience in analyzing large data
sets and in running models (i.e., chemical transport model), as well as
an interest or background in interdisciplinary research are highly
desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills are important

conferences. The salary will be competitive and commensurate with
relevant experience.

Interested candidates should submit an application including: (1) a

The appointment will start as soon as possible, and the position is open
until filled.
