Hi all,

Below is information about a workshop that the Postdoctoral Association 
of Colorado is holding at the end of this month.  Mark Hernandez, one of 
the speakers at the workshop, spoke at an ASP workshop a few years ago.  
He is an excellent and dynamic speaker.  I hope that some of you will be 
able to attend.  As always, this events are open to postdocs only and 
you must RSVP.

Hi Postdocs,

This month's PAC workshop will be on Monday, March 28th at 11.00 am - 
1.00 pm in the Aspen Rooms, UMC. The title is "Managing Research Groups" 
and will be presented by Professors Jose-Luis Jimenez (CIRES), Margaret 
Murnane (Physics & JILA), and Mark Hernandez (Civil Eng.). Please see 
the PAC website for more info. Lunch will be provided so please RSVP

A reminder that office hours for Postdocs will take place on Thursday, 
2.00 - 4.00 pm with Prof Rankin in Regent 323. As usual, bring along 
anything you need help with and no appointment is needed.

Finally, Cafe Scientifique takes place tomorrow, Tuesday 8th March at 
the Millennium Harvest Hotel. Noah Fierer from CIRES will be talking 
about bacterial biodiversity, for a full abstract, please see the PAC 
website.
