Dear Paula Fisher,

We are in the process of recruiting the 2011-2013 cohort for the 
/Minorities Striving and Pursuing Higher Degrees of Success Professional 
Development Program/ (/MS PHD'S PDP/ <http://www.msphds.org>/),/ and are 
sending a reminder as the August 31, 2011 deadline for applying 
approaches.  The /MS PHD'S/ Program/ /facilitates mentoring and 
networking activities for minority undergraduate and graduate Earth 
system science and engineering majors, and provides a supportive 
environment in which participants develop strategies and professional 
skills necessary to excel in Earth system science and engineering fields.
