[Grad-postdoc-assn] Elk bugling hike

Hi all,


Here is the information you need if you plan to attend the elk  
bugling hike on Sunday 28th.

1) For having a picnic and a little hike in Estes Park before the elk  
bugling hike:

For those leaving from Boulder: RDV Sunday at 11:20am on Sport  
Authority parking lot in North Boulder

There is potentially 4 cars leaving from there with the number of  
seats available in ():
- Knut (2 or 3 free seats)
- Mark (1 or 2)
- Isabelle (2)
- Simone (O, I guess)

Mark and I have a pass to enter the RMNP, Knut don't and I don't know  
about Simone. I know that Ben has one too, so can you bring yours and  
join Knut's car? What about you Simone?

Here now the list of the participants that need to fit in the cars:
- Ben (please, bring your RMNP pass and ride with Knut)
- Stefanie and Mercy: You can choose your driver! Please, book your  
seat by sending an email to the driver.

2) For Russ and those who want to join but are not leaving from Boulder

If you want to join for the picnic: RDV at 12:30 in front of the RMNP  
visitor center before the park entrance.

If you want to join only the elk bugling hike: RDV at 5:20 in front  
of the Moraine Park Museum inside the park (cf. map included).

3) For EVERYBODY, please bring:
- your own picnic for lunch and things to share if you like
- water or other drinks (I know that englishman can't drink anything  
else than beer ;)
- some hot clothes and maybe light gloves to keep warm in the evening
- maybe flash lights in case we get lost with the guide (no I'm  
kidding ;) but who knows the guide might want to hang around until  
dark...
- cameras
- about 10$/pers to pay the guide in cash or a check payable to:

Rocky Mountain Nature Association  (do not make out to RMNP)
memo: outreach program, ENVED

It would be nice if the other drivers can give their cell phone  
numbers too, for the passenger to book their seats and in case some  
cars get lost.

For those cited above, please let me know if these plans work for you  
(specially if your a designated driver). For the ones who would like  
to join but are not on the list yet, just let me know what are your  
plans.
