Hello Students and Postdocs!

The Thompson Lecture Series (TLS) Committee would like to 
invite you to
sign-up for an individual meeting with Ray Pierrehumbert, 
our next Thompson
Lecturer. While the Thompson Lecture Series as a whole 
provides a
unique opportunity for us to interact with distinguished 
scientists, the
individual meetings provide a further opportunity for you 
to discuss
your individual science and/or career path with these 
amazing folks!

Please take advantage of it!

Prof. Pierrehumbert will be here Nov 20-21. Currently, 
there are 11 individual meeting
time slots (30 minutes each). To view the schedule and
sign-up for a slot, please go to the Thompson Lecture

You will need to log in with your UCAS name and password. 
Once you log
in, follow the "Schedule" link. From there you can choose 
to "Edit" the
schedule, which will allow you to enter your name in one 
of the time slots.

If you have questions, feel free to contact me or the 
other committee members.
Sign-up soon...the slots may disappear quickly!

On a different note, next week you will receive more 
information on the potluck dinner,
which is scheduled for Friday Nov. 21 in the Damon room, 
starting at 6:00pm
