The Hurricane - Climate Change Connection: Bringing Cutting Edge Research into the Classroom --- is a virtual workshop being offered October 20-24. Full information and application materials are available at http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/hurricanes08/index.html . The application deadline is October 1.

The Role of Metacognition in Teaching Geoscience --- will take place November 19-21 at Carleton. Full information and application materials are available at http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/metacognition/workshop08/index.html . The application deadline is October 10.

We hope to see you at a workshop this year.
