Climate Dynamics / Atmospheric Physics / Physical Oceanography

Wheaton College in Massachusetts seeks a tenure-track assistant
professor as part of an inter-departmental effort to appoint a
specialist in Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.  Within
this search, the Physics department seeks a scientist with a strong
background in computational modeling and fluid dynamics who can
contribute to both the Physics and Environmental Science majors.
Possible areas of research interest include climate dynamics,
atmospheric physics, and physical oceanography, though all fields will
be considered.

Wheaton is a private liberal arts college in a small New England town
close to Boston and Providence.  The annual teaching load for faculty is
five courses per year.  Wheaton's curriculum emphasizes
interdisciplinary connections and experiential learning.
