May I be so bold as to suggest that you consider the "other" special session
I am co-chairing. Metadata is one of the themes of this session and we would
consider yours an invited paper. Specifically: <br>
<i>1. Technical issues associated with Cyber infrastructure: Metadata issues
in modeling. What's NOT happening due to roadblocks that hinder/prevent
collaboration. <br>
Potential speakers: </i> (looking for speaker). <br>

<td> This session is about making diverse data usable and available to
space and Earth science researchers and decision makers. It includes all
aspects of the end to end data and service flow. Topics include but are
not limited to data and service standards, modeling, metadata, interoperability,
multi-instrument data processing and co-location, archive strategies to
optimize data search and access, data mining, Grid technologies, web and
Grid technology convergence for interdisciplinary applications, on-line
analysis services and tools, and accuracy issues related to data manipulation.

Metadata stuff but feel it might be completely overwhelemed if other GO-ESSP
or ESMF presentations/Posters won't be there to give it some umph… if you
know what I mean.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Arial">Abstracts are due Sep 9 - so we need to
know if we are going sooner than later.</font> </p>
<p><font size="2" face="Arial">We will be submitting an abstract to the
AMS</font> <font size="2" face="Arial">meeting Distributed Earth Science
Information Systems Session which seemed a bit more manageable.</font></p>
