Hi,<br>
<br>
There have been some spectacularly successful horizontal logos (think
of the white Coca-Cola script), but I agree with the notion that a more
compact logo might be more versatile. I like esp1.jpg. The metaphor
is concise (we can deliver the world to your desktop computer). I
don't care for the metaphor in esp2.jsp (the arrows pointing every
which way says to me "we're lost" not perhaps as was intended "we move
data around"). In general, I think Eric's logos are much more
professional looking, but I cannot let go of the notion of cooperation
exemplified by the shaking hands metaphor as an important part of what
the GO-ESP is all about.<br>
<br>
Eric, care to have a go at cluttering up esp1.jpg with some shaking
hands? <span class="moz-smiley-s3"><span> ;-) </span></span><br>
<br>
So as not to feel too guilty about all the energy going into this, I
keep telling myself companies spend millions on this sort of thing. <span
class="moz-smiley-s6"><span> :-[ </span></span><br>

Regarding issues of color-blindness, take a look at the clever web page
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://">http://</a>
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.vischeck.com/vischeck/vischeckImage.php">www.vischeck.com/vischeck/vischeckImage.php</a> ; they transform your image
into what the
<br>
color-blind would see. They also have a page to do the same for web
pages.
<br>
<br>
Attached are two logos which are color-blind friendly, less horizontal
and somewhat different than Roland's.
