Ph.D. students to conduct USDA-funded independent biogeochemistry research. Activities
include conducting cutting-edge geochemical, microbiological, spectroscopic,
and analytical experiments to better understand the fate of microbial exudates
(siderophores) in soil. Opportunities exist to interact closely with interdisciplinary
collaborators. The home department for the student is anticipated to be Crop
and Soil Sciences or Entomology and Plant Pathology </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;font-size:12pt">at NC State University in Raleigh,
