<p>A full-time postdoctoral position in atmospheric physics is available at Laboratoire d'Océanographie Physique et Spatiale (LOPS) in Plouzané - Brest, France, to work on the impact of sea-spray on surface turbulent fluxes in tropical cyclones and mid-latitude storms.</p>
<p>Supervisors: Marie-Noelle Bouin (<a href="mailto:marie-noelle.bouin@meteo.fr">nbouin@ifremer.fr</a>) and Jean-Luc Redelsperger (<a href="mailto:jlredels@ifremer.fr">jlredels@ifremer.fr</a>)</p>
<p>The required qualifications include:<br /> 1) A Ph. D. in atmospheric sciences or fluid mechanics obtained before the starting date of the contract.<br /> 2) An expertise in representing turbulent surface fluxes, in physics of the turbulence, or in atmospheric boundary-layer processes.<br /> 3) An expertise in Fortran and Linux, and an experience in high computing.</p>
