These positions are available immediately for one year and additional years depending on the progress of the research. These individuals should have strong backgrounds in numerical methods, computer programming, hydrogeology, and electrical magnetic theories as well as familiarity with successive linear estimator and VSAFT3 (variably saturated flow and solute transport in 3D) code algorithms. The individuals will be responsible for developing and testing numerical data fusion methods for characterizing and understanding water flow systems in karst aquifers. Throughout the duration of the project, the postdoc will be mentored by PI Yeh. Yeh has developed a mentoring plan for the postdoc that will be accomplished through a program of activities including advising on career pathways, introducing the postdoc to the PI$B!G(Bs network of collaborators, counseling on how to build collaborations, skill-building in hydrogeophysics tomography data collection and modeling, and encouraging strategic yet creative thinking. During these meetings, they will discuss recent results and current problems in all aspects of the work on the project, including broad science and engineering challenges and relevant publications.
