a postdoctoral research scientist to examine tropical convective processes and their interactions with synoptic equatorial waves (e.g., African Easterly Waves and convectively-coupled Kelvin waves) over the West African coastal region. This project will utilize
satellite, in-situ, and aircraft observations, reanalysis data, and cloud-resolving modeling to understand processes that contribute to the characteristics of tropical convective systems as they move offshore from the West African coastal region. In-situ and
