for a one-year, full-time lecturer position in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This position is for the 2020-2021 academic year.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Lecturers teach 30 credits per academic year, which translates to four or five courses per semester, depending
upon credit hours assigned for courses. Courses may include online, face-to-face, or hybrid courses in the day, or sometimes during the evening.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

1. Work with students from a variety of backgrounds and ages, teaching a variety of geospatial sciences courses that include GIS, remote sensing, spatial modeling. remote sensing, cartography, data modeling, database development, python scripting, and/or other
current geospatial science topics.<br>
2. Facilitate student learning by introducing real-world problems through spatial data development, modeling, visualization, and analysis, using ArcGIS and other geospatial software.<br>
