 operations of the NSF’s National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory, the National Solar Observatory, and the construction of the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope and the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope under cooperative agreements with the National

 Program (NISP) to be responsible for the overall management of the NSO’s synoptic program, including the operations, maintenance, and technical upgrades of the Global Oscillation Network (GONG) and the Synoptic Optical Long-term Investigations of the Sun (SOLIS).
 The NISP AD ensures the scientific validity of GONG and SOLIS data, has top-level responsibility for data processing development with the Science group, and for user data support. In collaboration with the community, participates and leads new projects such
 as the future synoptic network ngGONG.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
