<p style="line-height:14.65pt">The department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an energetic, motivated, post-doctoral researcher for model development projects aimed at improving predictions
from regional and global scale air quality modeling systems. Research activities will be focused on the formation of fine particulate matter via oxidation of biogenic volatile organic compounds and subsequent acid-catalyzed multiphase chemistry. The proposed
work will involve collaborations with Dr. Jason Surratt utilizing new experimental kinetic data generated from his chamber experiments to constrain current <span class="caps">AQM</span> parameters, or develop new model algorithms. <span class="caps">AQM</span> development
work will include collaborations with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and National Center for Atmospheric Research scientists.<o:p></o:p></p>
