<span style="font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333">The Coastal Resilience program aims to build more resilient coastal communities and ecosystems by promoting the use of natural infrastructure solutions (including wetlands, barrier
islands, oyster reefs, restored floodplains, etc.) in local, state, and federal climate change adaptation strategies in order to reduce the impacts of riverine and coastal flooding.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333">The Coastal Resilience team is currently tracking investments to design and implement natural infrastructure projects in Louisiana and North Carolina and is identifying additional states
in which to work. In support of the states, it is important to better understand federal legislation that seeks to invest financial resources in resilience. Similarly, many states are leading the country in resilience and adaptation and better understanding
states' best management practices that can be adopted by other states is needed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
