<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#333333">The position is to develop an energy balance research elements at JPL that will connect to ongoing sea level rise research and will contribute to NASA goals on Earth’s energy balance science generally.
 This is an important area of science development for JPL as it provides a missing integrating link between many research threads, including ocean altimetry and GRACE, the energy budget measurements of PREFIRE, and the cloud and aerosol research activities
 of CloudSat, AIRS, and MISR among others as these are all connected through Earth’s energy balance. It is expected that the research developed by the successful candidate will develop and forge the integration of these JPL research activities.  </span><span style="font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Source Sans Pro",serif;color:#333333"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
