such as high tech and biotech. This is also the case in China. RMI U.S. office has already been making efforts to launch an initiative, called Technology Energy Collaboration (TEC), to develop an accelerator+VC fund solution for this problem. China program
has been working closely with TEC in the past 6 months and try to explore the possibility of applying this model in China's harder-to-abate sectors, where most deep decarbonization technologies are in early stage and have the largest potential for large-scale

decarbonizing urban transportation is transitioning away from the use of fossil fuels in favor of electricity. One key intervention is facilitating the adoption of urban e-trucks, with the potential to unlock over 60 million tons of carbon reduction in China
and 3 billion tons globally by 2030. RMI has been working recently in the City of Shenzhen to evaluate key policies and challenges to high-levels of EV and e-truck deployment. We are now in a position to begin engaging a broader set of Chinese and global cities
