Office to conduct macroalgae dynamics and trajectory modeling. Funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) MARINER program of U.S. Department of Energy. PNNL has developed a macroalgae growth model for floating macroalgal farm systems.
Under the guidance of project PI, the selected candidate is expected to implement and test a free-floating macroalgae (sargassum) trajectory forecast system using advanced oceanographic forecast data (current, wave, nutrients and remote sensing) and the macroalgae
growth model in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
