with related experience in geosciences, as well as those with training in other quantitative fields (e.g., computer science, civil engineering, physics) and a desire to tackle new topics.

channels, and the sedimentary record of Mars. The department offers many opportunities to connect to allied fields that converge at Earth’s surface, including hydrology, ecology and atmospheric sciences.
