Our department offers a PAB-accredited Master of City and Regional Planning degree and is currently pursuing the addition of interdisciplinary undergraduate and doctoral programs. We are housed in the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy, which provides a hub for collaboration and diverse disciplinary perspectives necessary for effective, comprehensive metropolitan action. The department hosts the interdisciplinary UofM Design Collaborative and is currently contributing to the development of the City of Memphis’ comprehensive plan. Our faculty members have active, funded research partnerships with colleagues across campus, from Anthropology to Computer Science.
