<p class="MsoNormal">Northland College is currently inviting applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in climate science at the assistant professor level to begin in the fall of 2020. We seek candidates with a diverse background studying the science
of climate change, including (but not limited to) the associated fields of atmospheric science, oceanography, or earth science. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to educating future real-world environmental scientists and leaders.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The successful candidate’s teaching load will consist of six courses per year in climate science, including introductory courses in weather and climate, oceanography, and climate change as well as upper level courses appropriate to a climate
science major. Moreover, faculty are expected to advise student research in support of the candidate’s research interests. The successful applicant must demonstrate a commitment to the liberal arts and the ability to teach and work with persons from culturally
diverse backgrounds.<o:p></o:p></p>
