<span style="font-family:Roboto;color:#333333">The School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences has an opening for a tenure-track faculty member (open-rank) in the area of Boundary Layer Meteorology. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue and secure
funding to support a robust research program, and publish in the academic field of urban and/or coastal boundary layer meteorology observations and numerical modeling. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate
levels, collaborating with interdisciplinary research and teaching teams, developing curriculum, and performing service to the university and the broader community. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern observational tools applied to understanding
wind flows in complex environments, turbulent mixing and energy balance, boundary layer processes and dynamics and modeling in urban and coastal environments, with a track record of maintaining a robust extramurally funded research program. Incumbent will
be expected to engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with the University's Public Health program in environmental epidemiology and community health management (e.g., modeling of particulate matter and reactive gases), and lead efforts which support the
planned continuing investment in this new area of SUNY strength and focus. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
