<b><o:p></o:p>Postdoctoral Associate or Research Scientist – Environmental Impacts Modeling</b></p>

<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt">Duke’s Nicholas School of Environment in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a postdoctoral associate or Research Scientist with experience in quantitative modeling of air quality, climate change, and/or the energy system.
</span>The position will be supervised by Dr. Drew Shindell (https://nicholas.duke.edu/people/faculty/shindell).
<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt">The researcher will advance efforts to more fully incorporate climate, agriculture and public health responses into analyses of emissions mitigation options and decision-support tools. This will include their effects
on the economy, especially in the US.</span></p>

<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt">The candidate must have a PhD in a related field, be fluent in computer programming, preferably python, and have extensive experience in both numerical modeling and writing papers for peer-reviewed journals. The candidate
should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively and have an excellent command of English. The researcher will be expected to prepare results for peer reviewed journals.
</span>Travel to domestic conferences on an annual basis. Potential collaboration with US EPA researchers in nearby Research Triangle Park.<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt"></span></p>
