candidate would be a broadly trained physical geographer with a specialty in meteorology or atmospheric science. Specific consideration will be given to applicants whose research interests focus on large-scale climate dynamics or synoptic meteorology, but
applicants with expertise in any atmospheric-related area are invited to apply. Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate courses in meteorology, climatology, physical geography, geospatial analysis, or other related courses in the candidate’s

analysis, and human-environment interactions. In addition, candidates should have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and communication, but ideal candidates will possess research interests that intersect with topics being taught and include pursuit of extramural
