the Environment</span></a><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"> (IonE) at the University of Minnesota
seeks a postdoctoral researcher at the <b>interface of sustainability, supply-chain
analysis, and agriculture</b>, to lead a research project aimed at expanding
existing supply-chain sustainability work into the dairy and alfalfa sectors. </span></p>
<p class="gmail-MsoBodyText" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The postdoctoral researcher will be supervised by Dr.
Jennifer Schmitt and will closely collaborate with multiple researchers at the
Institute on the Environment. IonE is internationally recognized for
discovering and advancing solutions to the world’s greatest environmental
challenges (</span><a href="http://environment.umn.edu/research-solutions/" target="_blank" style="color:blue"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">see here</span></a><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">). The researcher will be housed in the
Institute’s collaborative workspace in the Learning and Environmental Sciences
Building. The Institute provides opportunities for professional development
through outreach and media workshops, interaction with diverse faculty fellows,

and is dependent on receipt of grant funds. The position is<b> located at IonE on
the St. Paul, MN campus</b> and the person will be expected to fully participate in
the IonE community, including attending important IonE and Knowledge Initiative
events as well as developing working relationships with other IonE staff. The
postdoc will also have the opportunity for professional development (a plan to
be developed in collaboration with their supervisor) to support their skill
