The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah invites applicants for an immediate post-doctoral opportunity funded by the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and <span class="caps">NASA</span>. This 1-3 year project is to develop
a new synchrotron-based nano-computed-tomography (nCT) imaging facility at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (<span class="caps">LBNL</span>) Advanced Light Source (<span class="caps">ALS</span>). The consortium that is creating this new facility includes
Michael Czabaj at the University of Utah, Benjamin Gilbert at the Energy Geosciences Division of <span class="caps">LBNL</span>, and Alastair MacDowell at the <span class="caps">ALS</span>.<o:p></o:p></p>
