<div dir="ltr"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">We are looking to
hire a a laboratory/field technician/manager in the Wozniak Marine Organic
Geochemistry lab at the University of Delaware (Lewes campus). The successful
candidate will perform a variety of duties related to ongoing projects and
activities. Experience with GC-MS (and/or FID) is strongly desired (e.g.,
analysis of lipids, contaminants, and/or volatile organics). A degree(s) in
Chemistry, Marine Science, or a related field is also strongly desired.

and training new lab members in the operation of lab instrumentation,</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">- assisting lab members with various
aspects of research in the laboratory and field including facilitating sample
analyses, building/expanding laboratory analytical capabilities, data
processing/analysis and archiving, and sample collections</span></p>

and inventory of supplies and/or equipment.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">The Wozniak Marine Organic Geochemistry lab
performs organic geochemical research in a variety of marine, atmospheric, and
watershed environments. Current projects include studies of rainwater organic matter
molecular composition, biological and subsurface water controls on surface
microlayer chemical composition and physical properties, pyrogenic dissolved
organic matter molecular composition, and volatile organic matter exchange at
the air-sea interface. Instrumentation in the Wozniak laboratory includes an
Agilent GC-MS (with ChemStation software) and a Shimadzu TOC-V. Additional
analyses performed at UofD or elsewhere include nutrient analyses, 1H NMR
spectroscopy, isotope ratio mass spectrometry, CHN elemental analysis, and
