Here are some tips to guide you through the application
processes:<br>
<br>
1) READ THE CALL: <br>
try to read carefully the call but do not get too scared about
the bureaucratic language <br>
<br>
2) VIDEOCONF INTERVIEW: <br>
CNR introduced the possibility of having the interview via <br>
video-conferencing systems. This is important because you are
not obliged to fly over <br>
unless you really want to visit this beautiful place ;)<br>
<br>
3) RECOGNITION of ACADEMIC TITLES TAKEN ABROAD:<br>
You do NOT need any formal recognition by MIUR for your<br>
titles. The equivalence of those titles obtained abroad, who <br>
have not already been recognized in Italy with the formal
procedure, <br>
will be evaluated, only for the present selection procedure, by
the Examining Committee.<br>
This basically means that there will be a University Professor
in the Examining Committee <br>
which will evaluate your academic titles and declare them
equivalent to the ones needed <br>
only for the purpose of this application. This saves time and
avoids recognition by MIUR.<br>
Of course you need to provide copies of your original titles and
their English <br>
translations to make the equivalence possible.<br>
<br>
4) ANNEX A (application form):<br>
For the application, you need to fill a document similar to
Annex A, (call announcement code is <br>
ISMAR-008-2019-SP), dated and signed it. You may scan it and
send it with the other documents <br>
via email. I said "similar" because for example if you do not
have a PhD you do not need to<br>
fill that field, etc... But please stick to Annex A for as much
as you can. <br>
<br>
5) Curriculum Vitae and ANNEX B (self-certification):<br>
For the application it is important that you turn in a
"self-certified CV".<br>
To create a self-certified CV, I would proceed as follows:<br>
<br>
5a) Start from your current CV in the present form, with photo,
header, etc... As you like <br>
but I'd suggest you to put everything, I mean everything, as
much as you can show. <br>
CV should also contain a list of all your scientific works
(papers, book chapters, technical <br>
reports, etc...). Also make sure that you CV is edited in an
analytical way and all items <br>
in the CV are correctly identified with single reference
elements (example: date, protocol, <br>
title of the publication, etc...). If your current CV already
includes everything and you feel<br>
ok with it, you just need to follow the easy modifications below
to have a self-certified CV;<br>
<br>
5b) make sure to date and sign ALL THE PAGES of the CV document<br>
<br>
5c) scan the dated and signed self-certified CV and send it with
the other documents.<br>
<br>
5d) Fill Annex B, scan the signed version and send it with the
other documents.<br>
<br>
5e) make sure to send a PDF copy of a valid identification
document (generally passport in most <br>
cases) with the other documents, otherwise the
self-certification is not valid.<br>
<br>
6) ANNEX C (Authorization to process your data for the selection
procedure):<br>
For the application, you need to fill Annex C with your personal
data (name, date and <br>
place of birth, place of residence and address) dated and signed
it. <br>
You may scan it and send it with the other documents via email.<br>
