to gain a better understanding of climate change and its impacts on society. The CDS data catalogue includes observations of climate variables, global and regional reanalysis, seasonal forecasts and model simulations of future climate change under different
emission scenarios. The CDS is designed to make it possible for non-expert users to combine many of these datasets into useful high-level information products. This can be done with an online python toolbox, which includes a simple application editor for developing
