The position would begin as soon as possible. The term would initially be for one year, but is renewable for one or more years, contingent on satisfactory progress.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The general research involves using global climate models to identify and understand large-scale changes in the hydrologic cycle under climate change, with a particular focus on heavy precipitation and drought. The project on which the postdoctoral scholar will be working is part of a larger effort to better understand and project the future of hydrologic extremes, including the use of emergent constraints as an uncertainty-reduction method.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Any candidate with interest in this topic is invited to apply.
