<p class="MsoNormal">The main focus for the Education Assistant is our work with schools. Key tasks for this role include:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Taking charge at an early stage of delivering education events such as the National Schools Geology Challenge and the Early Careers Award<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Being the main point of contact for the Regional Groups on behalf of the Education team<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Providing administrative support for the Education Committee<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Taking on and completing the Fieldsites online resource for teachers of KS4/5 geography and geology<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Education Assistant will be involved in most areas in which the Education team operates e.g., in planning for/attending external science events (e.g. Lyme Regis Fossil Festival); contributing to outputs related to the Society’s themed
years; and responding to education enquiries.<o:p></o:p></p>
