 measurements of ambient level pollutants at over 200 monitors located throughout the state of Florida.  The data generated is used to define the nature and severity of pollution in Florida; determine which areas of Florida are in attainment; identify pollution
 trends in the state; support air quality forecasting; and develop air models and emission inventories. The program encompasses operation of the sampling and monitoring network, laboratory analysis of air samples, and quality assurance activities to ensure
 the quality of the data collected and disseminated by DARM and our local program partners.  In addition, technical assistance is provided to local programs and others active in air quality monitoring.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"inherit",serif;color:#707070">This position is primarily responsible for providing support in database maintenance and management; statewide data uploads to the Air Quality System (AQS), the USEPA air monitoring data
 repository; certification of statewide air monitoring data; and reviewing and making technical evaluations and recommendations concerning ambient air quality data.  The incumbent must be able to manage and manipulate large quantities of data, identify and
 interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets; and provide support in the development and maintenance of technical documentation.  The incumbent will participate in statewide systems audits, provide operational support in the Division’s laboratories, and
